    At 30' distant, good video cables can cost an arm plus. This is more so if one requires three. Just ordered a TV with component (those three wires one) input. Due to the distance from the main equipment rack and the need to hide those wires under ground, I need some recommendations on cables with the least loss yet not breaking the bank. Will be connecting this to my DVD player. Please kindly voice your opinion.

  Hi,
  mostly s-video cables perform identically; it's a good design
  that has no need for fancy wire. Get some at walmart or radioshack.
