Both my DVD Player (Pioneer DV-525) & my Sony receiver (STR-K502P)
say they both support DTS audio but whenever I use the DTS audio selection from the DVD I have no audio. Any idea why? Thanks
Dave
Follow Ups:
Within the Menu of the DVD player, you should be able to choose whether or the DTS feature is "on" or "off". I have a DV414, which I believe is essetially the same as far as this interface goes. Also, make sure that the digital input that you selected within the receiver is on. I ran into the same trouble and after a call to Pioneer (at 1-800-421-1404) it was fixed. If you choose to call, try to do it at a time that you are in front of the reveiver (vs from work) as it is easier for them to talk you through the process at that time. You are also welcome to e-mail me if this does not work, i will try to be as helpful as possible.Good luck!

Thanks!
As I am sure that you are glad to hear DTS. Congrats, and happy listening.
do you have the DVD player's digital output connected to the receiver and have you selected the right input on the receiver that corresponds to that digital input?
