In Reply to: X-Box, or PS2... Can they support 480p or 1020i via component posted by Elizabeth on January 23, 2002 at 05:43:55:
The X-Box will output 480p or 1020i through it's component outputs only on games that support this feature, DOA 3 and some football game were the only ones that did it at launch, I'm not sure what current games are programmed for it. PS2 I'm not so sure about, but I'm 90% sure that it doesn't do progressive or hi res interlace. The Gamecube (the only system I own) will output 480p through its component outputs for most games. And the Sega Dreamcast (Oh yeah I forgot I own that one too) with its VGA box and a VGA to component adapter will output 640 X 480.post scriptum. One would buy a PS2 for its incredible games rather than its resolution as it is the worst looking next gen system (including the older dreamcast)
I hope I was a help

Is there a website that tell which Xbox games are HI DEF?
I dont think XBox has any games that are 1080i yet,but they are in the process of making them.
Thanks
