I'm not sure to whom this movie was targeted & its illogic still dumbfounds me. Don't get me wrong, it was an enjoyable little romp. For those still unaware, this movie is "Star Trek" meets "3 Amigos". Picture the cast of the Enterprise recruited to save an interstellar species from extinction.
It can be viewed by the general public, but has references to Trekkies which warant a certain age to find humorous. Finding a Sci-Fi fan of said age that would enjoy being roasted may be difficult. At least I wouldn't have invested in it. I'd think the target audience would be fiscally small for such a budget. By that I meant the cast, the FX were of worthy of Babylon 5.
