1950-"Destination Moon"; 1971- "A Clockwork Orange"; 1977- "Close Encounters of the Third Kind"/"Star Wars"; 1982- "E.T. The Extraterrestrial".

Along with these sci-fi films, here are the other sci-fi's that were
included in the 1,000 Best: "The Day The Earth Stood Still"- a derisive
