>>& in the background one unused catagory read something to the nature of "ways my wife is a bitch". <<That'd be from Sandler's first big hit, Billy Madison. I liked only two gags in this movie. In one, Sandler's character is having hallucinations as a result of his drinking and sees a giant penguin, which taunts him by its presence. The other is the answer to how elementary school teachers stay sane ;-)
I watched Billy Madison after seeing Happy Gilmore, which is better, relatively speaking. Neither are "good" films, but I did enjoy Happy. Doesn't anybody else here go home from the office some evenings, crack open a beer (or a rum and Coke in my case), and just get stupid?
I agree that "hate" is too strong a word, especially when there much more offensive people than Adam Sandler -- truly offensive people -- to get upset about. Like Rosie O'Donnell, for instance...
