Re: not only smile...

Hi, Victor

***Add also these few seconds after kiss-for-cops
while they sit still with slightly coloured
faces... I call it erotic suspence.

I like that term. As my wife is so fond of saying, things understated often leave us disturbed and tormented more than any plastic guts in our faces.

And btw, they *both* smiled.

***Did the ever...

>>>
That chase in black Euro M5 is something special - engine noise galore and just the right
amount of suspension travel. Downshifting and hand breaking masterfully done. That black
Peugeot should not be able to keep the pace with the M5.
<<<

***I hardly can tell Zhiguli from Volga, so your car
comments wasted on me.

You tell them by the size of their smoke trail. Volga's is also darker.

***Umm... and spies often
*modify* motors, afaik. :)

Yep. However, few of them leave family car tires on their highly modified cars. Kidda trashes the whole idea.

***Ha... Ronin chase reminded me an old anecdote:
Some guy drives *first* time in his life. While
he's driving, wife calls him by the mobile phone:

- Darling, be careful! Radio says there's one
fool on the street who drives on the WRONG side.

- Only ONE??? Honey, here's THOUSANDS of'em!

That is good.

<<<
Have you noticed the same Paris arcade was used in the Last Tango in Paris? It is where
Brando meets her.
<<<

***Wow, no... shame on me! My main thought when I saw
the Last Tango was: "ohh so '9 1/2 weeks' is just
a *hollywoodized* version of THIS!"

I think she should have shot him after their first encounter. As much as I love this actor, he disgusts me on the screen often.

***Okay, since we're in details now... and since you
mentioned Soldier. Haven't you noticed that Russell
exploits *dog* image in his face mimics there?
This correlates with dobermans scene near film beginning.
Of course, he does it only when he has to *play*, not
just *schwarznegger*.

No, I did not notice this. I like Russell, he is quite capable guy. But I must admit I saw the movie mostly as the HT set-up tool, with bangs and all those impressive noises.

regards, gnat

BTW, is this your name or a handle?

Victor.
