I think the '40's movie you are referring to is "Reefer Madness". It basically said that if you smoked pot you would become a phsychotic killer IIRC.I wasn't aware that Harrelson advocated legalizing recreational pot. I know he's a big advocate of industrial hemp. Industrial hemp has a lot of uses like rope, paper, cloth, etc. It also grows well in the same areas where our illustrious gov't is trying to get people to stop growing tobacco. Its ok to import industrial hemp from other countries, just not grow it here.
