The matrix was a movie that was akin to a song that consisted entirely of samples from other songs. They cut up story elements that made other stories great, assembled them all in anachronistic fashion, put a modern techno beat in the background, and marketed it to the rave crowd. They raped what was good from other stories/movies and attempted to bring it all together in one melting pot; hoping to create a fresh new feast for movie buffs. Instead, it's just a stale, 2 week old bucket of glurp.I only hope the sequel will not abuse the 3D camera effect. That's has gotten a bit worn with its use in commercials and all.
