I have been a fan of Jack Lemmon forever. He was one of the rare actors who was capable of Oscar caliber performances both in humorous as well as serious roles. Some Like it Hot & The Odd Couple are certainly two of the funniest films ever made. Several years ago, when I was living in the L.A. area, I had a chance to meet Mr. Lemmon and discuss exotic cars (I was selling a Ferrari 512bbi that I had imported) for about 45 minutes on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. He was pleasant, nice, and a real car fan and he treated me with respect. An actor of his stature and magnitude is not easily replaced.
