Sorry guys, just thought this group was getting too slow. At least I have an excuse for the last few weeks, but has anyone seen anything a notch above a dinasaur movie?Shame on me. I bought that Fellini's "Roma" weeks ago and still have not opened it up... Between watching that and fixing the house air my wife gave the nod towards the latter, so that's what I did.
But at least I saw a couple of nice Samba Shows in Rio... don't know if that qualifies for this group, but surely beats the Pearl Harbor... I don't think you will see everyone dance at the end of that film, swinging their behinds like there is no tomorrow, trying to touch those beauties... THAT's life...
BTW, speaking of Samba, look at the list of names at the next Ballroom dance competition - it reads like Moscow telephone book... depressing... A guy who used to work here has a son - 18 I believe - he was champion of this and that, came here and now a coach.
Anyway, all this has little to do with fine movies (but neither do the dinasaur films... really...) so feel free to shot it down.
