Sort of hard to believe, but strange things DO happen to people. People change. She certainly had good star qualities, somethng that you don't often see.***She's one of my favorite actresses.
Same here, I keep her in the same category as another old timer - Barbara Stanwyck.
***A few recommended Jean Arthur films: You Can't Take It with You, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, Mr. Deeds Goes to Town, The Talk of the Town, Only Angels Have Wings, The More the Merrier, The Devil and Miss Jones, A Foreign Affair, Shane. She made some good ones!
Yes, that is a good list. I saw some of them and will definitely rent the others.
