Re: "Donnie Darko" one of the best this year...

I've seen it, though I don't share your enthusiasm. I just didn't find the story all that grabbing, and a far cry from American Beauty in my book. And far from Mulholland Drive as well, and you already know how I feel about that one :-)

Call me superficial, but my favorite line was: "What's a f**k-ass?"

I would have liked to see some more dysfunctional family situations and less of Donnie's "fantasy".

Oh, I do really like the Donnie Darko movie poster. Very disturbing and very representative of the film.

You know what? I'll wait for the DVD and watch it again before I finalize my judgment. I did that with Thin Red Line and now I absolutely love it. Strange, huh?
