This movie was highly enjoyable on DVD. You don't even have to be Indian or know cricket to enjoy this movie. I thought it was way better than 'A Beautiful Mind' and the other movies lined up for Oscar. Heard this movie is up for the best foreign film nomination at the academy awards. I personally hope it wins.Oher Indian movies that I was recommended by my Indian friends are 'Roja', 'Dil Chahtha Hai', 'Bombay', 'Sholay', 'Aks', 'Monsoon Wedding'. I've seen 'Dil Chahtha Hai' and 'Aks' and thought they both were pretty good as well, though not as good as 'Lagaan'.
