Other than to put an...ahem, "Urban" spin on the story, and market it to a new audience, totally unaware or caring of the James Caan version, seems a little silly....but then it doesn't cost that much, I'm sure!

Here are the reasons for the new release....Drug Content, Explicit Language, Sexual Situations, Violence.

Hardly a match for the original's...Explicit Language, Adult Situations, Violence, Not For Children....huh ?

Frankly, I'm interested now in getting the budget DVD of the original film...I guess It's starting to work, even on me !

I'm wondering how James Caan and Norman Jewison feels about this ?
