The Tunnel (Der Tunnel, German), the story of a bunch of guy digging a tunnel under the Berlin Wall. Sure, there's more than that, take The Greatest Escape and add a better writting and suspence, and you got The Tunnel.
This film won the Public Prize at the Montreal World Film Fest 2001 and it deserve it. A lot of folk here in Montreal saw that film, and I haven't hear a single negative comments, but only praise. Also, one on the top rating film at www.imbd.com, with a 8.4/10 stars.
The Tunnel's one of best suspence in recent memory, and much better than the Oscar winners: No Man's Land and A Beautiful Mind (this one is a stupid film).
