until my son (4) woke up and comandeered the TV to watch "Spongebob". Another classic- I've got to get to the rental store this weekend. Our new one has a nice large rack of foreign films, and quite a few classics, too. I guess Victor is right - there's plenty of good films to keep one occupied, just not as many new American ones.
Any suggestions for your favorite classic or foreign films? I may give "Ran" a spin, although I have avoided it so far, because I've seen and read Lear, and this seems to be a re-telling (although it could be a very good re-telling).
