Closing " my Churchill period " after many a book and films and his own writings this is the last thing I intended to see on the great man.
The film has the English touch...so many good actors playing it, it has a little bit of the sophistication of Altmann´s Gosford Park...Nothing new on board, an honest film who sticks as much it can to the historic thruth.
Albert Finney is a pleasure, Vanessa Redgrave is even supportable. And the rest of the crew simply wonderful.
For amateur of the English pre war epoque.
