A simple and elegant story of two cross-generational kindred spirits meeting by chance. So brilliantly written, directed and acted. Murray showed a depth never seen before. With the exception of a few brief lapses, he managed to suppress his Murrayism.I actually guffawed at the commercial shoots where Murray conveyed his muted frustration and delighted at the clean and pure nature of his relationship with Scarlett: nothing lurid, nothing profane.
Murray could well score an Ossky for this and probably deserves it--along with Sophia's direction of story, the editing, and cinematography.
