Dug this out for last night. Like "American Graffitti" and "Breaking Away", it perfectly captures the coiming of age, ennui, and romantic adventures of people age 19-20, this time three chicks in a pizzaria in Mystic, Connecticut. Although it could be swayed into formulaic TV writing, the filmmakers wisely avoid this temptation, and the result is pleasant success, tasty and fullfilling, like a good slice of pizza.
