What a firework of acting talent! There is so much to see in actors' faces, expressions, voices... even those playing small roles do have incredible depth and personality...
Isn't this what fine acting is supposed to be?
So far I can't say I am taken with directing - it is more determined to let the good actors do their work than with leaving any heavy stamp... but that acting! Oh, man, this is like finding oneself in a well stocked wine cellar with no one looking!
BTW - Sir John Gielgud looks amazingly like clark. And to say his part so far has been played with simply incredible charm, character and power would be the understatement of the day.
