This has been bugging me for years. There was a British summer replacement show in about 1968 or 1969 that was similar to the Twilight Zone, or Night Gallery. It began with suitably mysterious music, and with the camera (viewer) on a roller coaster. One plot that sticks in my mind was about a man who is stranded on a desert island for years. A woman appears one day in a small lifeboat...presumably from another shipwreck. After a time they quarrel and he kills her and buries her. Eventually a ship arrives to rescue him. Plagued by guilt, he reveals the gravesite to his rescuers. When they dig it up there is no body. He had imagined the woman.
Anyone remember this series and what it was called?
