This Japanese mystery/drama is a methodically paced study of murder and hypnotic suggestion. It's not going to grip you with fear or tension but it is intriguing as it deliberately unfolds. Oddly, the last half hour looks and feels so much like Ringu you feel like you've seen it before. (I believe this preceded Ringu so I'll say Ringu is guilty.)If you appreciate Japanese cinema this will be worth the see.
