I'm looking for the name of a movie (ca. early 90s???) that stars no one memorable (hence why I can't use IMDB). It centers around a young, college-age man whose Father dies mysteriously at the beginning of the movie. The boy returns home from college (if memory serves me correctly) to grieve. I remember a scene where he walks out of the airport to find his very hot, young, blonde, stepmother waiting for him as she leans against her red convertible. Basically, the premise of the movie is such that there is sexual tension between the son and stepmother during his stay at home while they are trying to deal with their father/husband's death. Finally, near the end of the movie, the boy is packed and ready to head back to college and there's another scene where the mother is staring down at him from the top of the stairs. The two stair at each other for a few moments before he drops his bags and rushs to her. They make love behind an opaque window or glass wall or something. The end of the movie comes as the young man, now "in love" with his stepmom ;-), finds out that she may have been involved with his Father's death. I remember the final scene where he figures things out and bursts into an indoor pool house (I think) just as she places a gun in her mouth (as she realizes she's in a no-win situation - now in love with her stepson but had his father killed for his money...I think). I can't remember if she dies or he saves/forgives her.Like I said, it's late-night, erotic thriller, b-budget fare, but the woman was incredibly attractive and a decent actress. I'd like to see what else she has been in, if anything.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
