Well, finally got to Hero last night. Saw the trailer in theater eons ago on Kill Bill (one or two). Looked beautiful. Then after DVD release heard all the complaining about quality (which didn't phase me, as I can get over that). Then I watched it and the story is crap. In general the film felt like an excuse to use color and add some wire-fu. What a piece. At least crouching tiger had a little story that made me a little interested.Well, I'm off to view Calandar Girls with the little lady. Hope that proves to be more entertaining. BTW, also have La Strada from Netflix right now. Have never viewed it and am looking forward to it quite a bit.
Happy viewing.
