I never saw "MacGyver" so I don't know how he was in that but I rememebr him all the way back to Gordon Parks "The Learning Tree" where he played officer Kirky. I also liked him in the teleivison show "Black Sheep Squadron" and who can forget the worst Russian acent ever in the movie "2010".
