The little town where I grew up is bringing it back after almost 20 years of hiatus. Looking at that place now sure brought back many good old memories for me.
I remember coming home one night when I heard a thud noise coming from my passenger window every time I hit a bump on the road. Turned out that it was one of the drive in movieâ€™s speaker system remember those ones grayish in color and squared looking style that came out of the 1940â€™s Philco table top radios, of which my girlfriend forgot to put it back in its hinges. In addition, along with it was a mile long speaker wire trailing behind it. I was just glad that it did not trip anyone while driving those around the downtown area.
Yes! Those were the days.
