Jodie Foster is terrifically cast as a grieving new widow who boards a huge commercial jetliner with her six year old daughter only to wake up hours later and find the daughter missing. The screenplay is extremely well written and situations keep you guessing until the very end. It doesn't hurt that Foster plays a jet engine engineer who knows the particular aircraft inside and out.
