I am angry my wife rented that marvel, and I am angry I spent two hours watching that crap.If one simply wanted to make a long movie that included all the worst attributes of American cinema - that would be it. Weak script, idiotic situations, lousy acting (for the most part) and cancer to the rescue when film starts losing its lame drive... all that combine to produce something we all should be ashamed about.
Terms of Endearment was a quintessential weak American film. The maker of Upside apparently decided that wasn't enough, and frankly, gave us a remake. Like all remakes before it, this one sucks much more than the original, and of course you have to watch the wooden "acting" of Kevin Costner - where is old Jack when you need him?
Dull, stupid, sappy, in the worst tradition of bad Hollywood production... what will the world say?
