"Red Lights:" a very strange little thriller illuminated

by an unforgettable portrayal of a middle-aged guy (far better than About Schmidt with Darroussin showing Nicholson that one needn't exaggerate to make a point).
The director, Cedric Kahn, creates almost imperceptively a growing sense of calamity.
Carole Bouquet, as the suspected wife, surpasses acting and we feel we're watching a documentary of a marriage not so much careening as collapsing through inertial and baggage.
