Anthony Hopkins stars as Burt Munroe, a real life motorcyclist who set many land speed records using a souped up ancient Indian motorcycle with many hand made parts. It's basically a road movie as Munroe moves from his native New Zealand to 1960's California and then Utah to the Bonneville Salt Flats. Along the way he meets a variety of good willed people who help him out financially and with food and places to stay. Very enjoyable and light entertainment.
