I remember seeing parts of the Dolls on cable before, but still, such a visual and philosophical treat... I remember Takeshi Kitano's one other work - The Violent Cop, and that one was just slightly above the average, I thought, but in Dolls he lets his imagination and mind loose and the result is quite rewarding.
