For those that enjoy a mature comedy, yet with some hilarious physical comedy, you can't do much better. A very young Marcello Mastroianni, Toto in his aged "prime" (one can't act such world weariness, he must have lived a terrific life), a luscious Claudia Cardinale (I saw her on the street in 1965 from several feet away... it was a big deal!), and Vittorio Gassman.
Yes, it's a caper movie but that's only a conceit: it's really a penetrating analysis of Italian society--- the lower classes.
Not to be missed by anyone that enjoys Italian film.
