Not bad for an Ollie Stone movie. Shot in a semi-documentary mode it was not nearly as gripping as the fly-on-the-wall Flight 93. This was the story of two men locked in rubble who we get to know through flashbacks and sidetrips to there frantic families awaiting word on their fate. This film is a first rate human interest story with some nice tissue grabbing moments. The credits rolled with stats that showed our two protaginists were numbers 18 and 19 out of only 20 live survivors found. It makes one wonder what happened to the majority of those 2700 missing bodies.
Ex nihilo, nihil fit . . .
