Dysfunctional family with everyone an odd character, everyone of whom w/in a 24-hr. period has a major crisis.
This film walks the line between melodrama and drama. Actually, it weaves along, stumbling from one to the other.
Yes, you'll be entertained and feel good afterwards.
A better actor than the obiquitous Greg Kinnear would have helped a bit but not much.
I guess I'd recommend it for entertainment purposes. It is a hell of a lot better than any sitcom, for comparions' sake.
