This is an eighty something minute doco abour architect Frank Gehry made by Sydney Pollack. Apparently they have been friends for some years.
In case you don't know Gehry is the archjtect whose buildings tend to look like a smash up between a pile of empty tin cans... Bilbao... The Disney Concert Hall.
I like him. But this film surpasses whether or not you like his work.
Its a good film.
You get a lot of differing views including a few who don't really like him.
It lays open the experimental nature of the design process in his studio and shows where his creatiity imposes itself on what is essentially a team thing.
My only criticism is that Bob Geldof could have been taken out... of the film I mean!
