And I was rivetted. NIcholson steals the film. My friens said he must have an ego as big as Africa. Maybe his talent matches it.
The scene where he impersonates the rat and the light catches his teeth and eyes... you could hear the entire audience jump at the look of pure... devil he conjured.
DeCaprio seems to have completely turned his back on the pretty boy films and roles and I was impressed
Isit in the same class as some of Scorsese's finest? I don't know, but by most people's standards its trmendously good. Too long? Well I don't think that's the issue as the time shot past for me and I am a notorious clock watcher.
