Rob's post below got me thinking about the best documentary award. It should've gone to 'Promises' imo. I remember seeing it on PBS during the early, emotional days after 9/11 and was so struck by it, I actually emailed PBS and suggested they beg, borrow or steal to get this documentary on every major network worldwide, prime time, and show it until every single human being on the planet has seen it...I'm not normally prone to do things like that.In my naive and hopeful thinking, I had a vision that Promises might provide the spark to change the course of history between Israel and Palestine...probably a little late now. If you get a chance to see it, tape it and give it to a friend.
