A lot of the electronics I buy, is broken when I buy it. And I doubt I'm alone in this. An alternative that I have mentioned before is see if there are any local HAM fests. Lots of these guys are like me, retired and like to fix stuff. Usually at these HAM fests, most of the participants know each other. Just ask, know anyone that might help me with my receiver?
