Poineer Elite Pro 510HD vs Poineer SD 532 HD, picture quality?

209.156.68.93

I haven't posted here before. I am looking into the purchase of a Poineer Elite Pro 510HD projection TV. However, the dealer I am working (a long time acquaintance who I trust) stated that the standard Poineer SD 532 HD has about 95% of the picture quality for about 70% of the cost. The major difference in cost being due to the "high tech" cabinet of the 510. Since the set will be built into the wall, I don't really care about the cabinet, but I do care, obviously, about the picture. He goes on to say that with standard definition TV the difference is slight and only really noticeable if the sets are side by side. With HD TV, the difference is insignificant. Unfortunately, he does not carry the 532, nor does it seem that anyone in the ares does. Pretty much all the Pioneer dealers carry the Elite only around here.

Have any of you seen both of these sets and if so, could you comment on the accuracy of my dealers comments regarding picture quality. I am aware of all the technical differences in the set already.

TIA,

John k...
