While playing with the Avia disk I came across the test tone that does a frequency sweep. The tone is at a constant sound level, but I get some serious peaks on my sound level meter around 118 Hz and 31 Hz.1) Is this most likely caused by characteristics of the room, speaker placement, or something else?
2) If it is the room, would sound absorbing materials flaten the frequency response or would the sound absorbing materials effect a wide range of frequencies to the same degree still leaving me with peaks at these frequencies?
Any insight would be appreciated.
