try a Krell amp. You'll be astounded just how understandable those mumbles can be.I didn't know it was a problem until I watched Private Ryan at my local audio store on their Maggie HT setup w/ Marantz MA300s (I think, they were the smaller monoblocks). I found it frustrating. I never knew Hanks mumbled?!
Anyhow, my home Maggie HT system doesn't do that. I've watched the same movie since. As far as I'm concerned, Krell was Saving Private system.
