The unit is only about 4 years old. I've contacted Pioneer, but got no help because they say it's out of warrantee. The TV has a main power switch in which you have to turn on before it will function. The Remote and the TV has a secondary power switch. So when you turn off the TV from the remote, there are actually some residual power going through the TV.I am not sure what else is on the same circuit. I will have to check on that. But this has only been happening this month and nothing new had been added to the circuit. I suspect that it might be a low power problem. I will need to measure it and see what's going on next time it goes off. Thanks for your help!
