I have owned one of these machines since new and never used it much. Beta got scarce and I stored it. This machine is amazingly over built and weighs a ton, and, as I recall had phenominal (near CD) quality sound. Now, with digital broadcasting technology, I would like to get it up and running, but the glue on the foil switch covers has failed and I have lost some of the little plastic actuators that engage the microswitches behind the panel. Sony just laughed when I called them about replacements, any ideas? barring repair, any offers? This machine is as new with less than 50 totol hours since new.
