I got the Sony DVP-500 it has been flawless with an awesome remote amazing sound from any source cd, dd, pro-logic DVD give it a go!!Most DVD players have pretty much the same overall quality unless you get into the real high end equipment check out sony, samsung, pioneer, toshiba, etc
