Re: which receiver

I have not heard the Marantz, but the NAD sounded very smooth and powerful (a rare combination for a AV receiver) at a local stereo shop. From what I have read, the Marantz has more bells and whistles than the NAD. I have always found NAD products to offer great value for the money. Good luck, Michael
