Hi!
I just joined this forum. From what I've been able to read, this Forum is great. I have the following humble home theater (remember I am just getting into this hobby):
1Toshiba (Cz36v51) 36" TV with PIP and Component video input
2Toshiba DVD with DTS decoding (SD3109)
3Kenwood HTB 503 with DTS and DR (Prologic) decoders
4just bought an Optical cable (AcousticResearch)
5 still have composite cables
I haven't even connected my equipment yet! I just bought it, but I am not sure what to do with the Video cable. Granted i won't be using composite nor S video. I wanna put the component video inputs to good use but I am not sure which cable is better or where to buy it. Here in my area I can get the Monster cable for $70 dollars and the Harmonic Tech. for $125 (both prices are for all 3 cables). Can someone tell me which is better for my money? Will I see any difference for a $45 price difference? I can also get some cheap one for $33.
Please help this rookie...thx all
