I had a similar experience although I am not sure if this will help. i beleive the problem lies within your remote. The power on - off button is stuck so it will keep turning itself on or off. Try disconnecting the batteries from the remote to check it out. If the problem goes away you have found the answer. Make sure you don't have another remote nearby that might be the suspect. Let me know if it works.
