Hi snodog,
From your post and the reply, it's clear that I have some learning to do. I've never even heard of progressive scan. It sounds pretty cool though.
The reason I want 2 systems is because I've already invested substantially in my 2-channel system and don't plan on spending nearly as much for my HT system. As I said in my origional post, I'm infinately more interested in 2-channel audio then in HT. I don't want to polute my current system with three more channels of amplification and three more speakers that probably wouldn't come close to the performance of my current speakers.
My future HT must do audio and video well.
