Best is a relative term. From the magazine reviews and what I have seen there is relatively few differences in picture quality in this price range. Especially if you don't use a large TV (36+). In terms of sound quality, most DVD players are no better than a cheap CD player. They are fine with movies, but don't come close to even a NAD or Rotel cd player. Again if you don't have a high resolution stereo you probably won't notice the difference.So my advice is get one with the features that you want.
